LOVE me some 48 Hour marathons on a Saturday morning! Kids at church camp, yummy coffee ☕️, breakfast potatoes…ahhhhhh.
Wealthy & well off people often assume that their status, class, wealth, etc is a barrier between them & the type of people that would be criminals. But that's a great factor for a skilled scammer, cuz if you can manage to get into those circles, even just one person allows you in, the rest of the wealthy people will assume you've already been checked out by them.
If the granddaughters, or her children were more involved and cared about her well being, how come they didn’t step in and be a part of her life after their grandfather passed. Sounds like they’d pop in every couple years just to make sure they were in the will.
'i don't know how i ended up on the back of his motorcycle' lol
9 mo passed since her family made a move to check on her?! 🤯 I can tell why that elderly woman was emotionally attached to an outsider 🙏🏻😖
This kinda reminds me of my relationship with my grandfather. I moved in with him when he was in his 90s. As soon as I showed up a lot of people in his life disappeared. A lot of people are looking after his money. People accused me of hanging out with him for his money too, but he would tell me daily that he wasn’t gonna leave me anything. I love the man dearly and miss him so much.
“My little 15k..” I wish I had money like that
29:45 You are COOKED when your lawyers are having to say things like this. “He had every intention of paying back the money”
Dahl's lawyers come across like such scumbags 😂 'yea he was convicted of swindling but that doesn't make him a swindler!'
It amazes me that some people, especially the rich still hire investigators *AFTER* they lose money, instead of before investing.
