Veteran faces assassination threat after plan to help North Koreans defect

Dude is an American vet fighting for international democracy and freedom for North Koreans! The US government has a duty to protect him!

This def helps his case in court, publicizing this story only exacerbates claims of his imminent assassination if he were to go abroad.

His first mistake was going to 60 minutes. Geezus lady, want him to reveal his sources so North Koreans can find them? Unbelievable.

why did they hang out for 4 hours in the embassy? The people that wanted to leave should've left immediately.

Why does Spain even have a North Korean embassy in their country to begin with?

The interviewer sounded really naive

I don’t understand the interviewer’s judgemental attitude here. Her manner is making this hard to watch. He’s handling the whole thing a lot better than I would in his situation. This is a prime example of how not to do journalism. I expected more, 60 Minutes.

I don’t like this reporter at all. Comes across as a total B. Her reactions were very weird. I’m into following politics and certain interests but don’t always know everything going on until it is happening. As someone who works in government and has a lot of military family as well, not everything is even announced because of safety concerns. So maybe he knew Kim Jong Un was visiting or maybe he didn’t. Why does Spain let North Korea have an “embassy” in their country. Yikes. Like they said they are not country, they are a terrorist state. I don’t have confidence in countries that allow for things like that.

1. This journalist is a MASSIVE let down. Absolutely ridiculous questions that most likely put this man’s life in danger even more. 2. Unbelievable story that this is the first time I’m hearing about it. This needs to go nationwide!
