- Locate the museum directly below Ground Zero, making the building itself a sacred artifact.
- Navigate intense family debates over displaying graphic imagery, including victim voicemails and photos of people falling.

It’s September 11, 2025. I’m a retired firefighter/medic. My retired USAF son and I visited the 9/11 Memorial & Museum in June of this year. We were both deeply moved. I witnessed three firefighters die back in 1974. Those memories never go away. To the memorial & museum I say Well done. Brian in Minnesota
Who's watching 9/11 in 2025 ? 24 years later and our hearts still ache with pain 💔
This tragedy shaped the 21st century so fundamentally. Never forget and I hope the victims rest well.
I visited the Memorial in October 2022. It took my breath away with how amazing it was put together. The recovered items, the pictures of the victims, the damaged artifacts, and parts of the towers themselves. Also the infinity pools at where the towers once stood were beautiful as well. The people there do a fantastic job preserving it and I hope to visit it again someday
I visited the 9/11 memorial site in March 2023 and was immediately overwhelmed by an involuntary feeling of mourning and sadness. I paid my respects to both towers.
Just ten mins before 9/11 happen today 8:46 24 years ago. R.I.P
RIP Orio Palmer and all who we lost that day and continue to lose. ❤
It is important to tell the story transparently. Such important moments in history cannot live solely in books and anecdotes.
This is the most heartfelt video on 9-11. Thank you museum lady (and co-workers) and 60 minutes.
When she said "the pictures stop here" my heart dropped so sorry
