Too many people fall for the narrative that drug companies do the research to bring innovation to health care. Nothing could be farther from the truth. They do the best job of marketing the discoveries and taking credit while making most of the money from it.

It is disgusting that these researchers and scientists need to conceal their identity before they feel they can speak out. We no longer have freedom of speech much less a reasonable plan to make the NIH more efficient. Our country is devolving rapidly. It is sickening.

Penny wise and dollar FOOLISH. The weird thing is without the NIH research the wealthy will die of the same diseases as The peons. Exactly ZERO for profit companies will fund basic research so the "free market" fails again.
