Hi Alex. I never comment but I wanted to drop a quick thanks. You’ve been a part of my learning journey as I made some huge changes this year. I graduated in March with my computer science degree, got my first job as a data analyst in July, and just accepted a role as a manager of healthcare analytics. Thanks for teaching me some stuff along the way!
These people are too chill. With my work load and everyone needing data yesterday, I am never this chill
lot's of food tasting in Analytics. lol
Hii Alex It's MJ, your biggest fan from Nigeria
I'm not a Data Analyst yet but i gearing to become one. thanks
The food thing bothers me too. So many of these videos focus more about that and also seem to be as vague as possible when actually talking about their job.
My work is a pretty good mix of maintenance (answering questions and fixing existing dashboards, reporting, and automations) and building new stuff, along with plenty of adhoc analysis requests. Some weeks I’m able to make lots of progress on projects, and others are spent primarily on operational tasks. I mainly work with SQL, Excel, and Python. Sometimes I have to jump into Tableau, but I try to avoid it since I really don’t like Tableau haha
Here early, so I'll comment. You've been a huge inspiration despite tough market times! Thank you for all the advice and knowledge you share so openly!
Enjoyed it 😂
