Brilliant episode. I grew up as an absolutely feral tomboy — football, cricket, scraped knees, climbing anything with a branch. A teacher even told me to pretend my name was Paul so I could play in the boys’ team, and another cheerfully announced I ‘should have been born a boy’. And I believed them. I prayed for it. Then I hit 13, grew up, grew into myself, and eventually ended up modelling and loving being a woman. Not because anything ‘changed’, but because childhood isn’t a fixed identity — it’s a rehearsal room. Listening to this conversation, I realise how easily a kid like I was could be funnelled into a narrative that would have rewritten my entire life. Tomboy does not equal trans. Non-conformity doesn’t require a prescription. Sometimes girls are just… girls — powerful, awkward, brilliant ones who refuse to stay in the box adults build for them.

So it’s cruel to mock people with surgically created genitals but not cruel to lie to children and prescribe hormones that there are no long term studies on, or to cut off people’s genitals putting them at high risk of dangerous and debilitating complications for the rest of their lives? What planet are we on again? This woman is absolutely insane .

Andrew, towards the end of this she spoke of her ‘heretic’ her first client, which was A CHILD…A 12 yr old CHILD. There are so many levels of abhorrent wrongs here I cannot begin to start.

I don’t identify as woman. I am biologically a female. Society recognises I’m a woman. No woman ever needs to say I’m a woman.

I'm terrified that a doctor can lose all sense of medical science after meeting 1 trans person.

I have never ever seen someone contradict themselves again and again and again and yet be so utterly certain they are correct. Extraordinary.
