I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and had surgery last week to remove the cancer and tumors… I have been binge watching and rewatching Serialously and 10 to life…. Your shows are part of my healing journey 🫶🏼🙏🏼
When has staging a home invasion ever worked??? 🤦🏻♀️
Debbie Collier was also stripped naked and grasping on to a tree. Who kills themselves that way on the way to a tailgate party. So sad.
Regarding the Should I Marry a Murderer case, there is another BBC documentary called Murder Case: The Vanishing Cyclist which goes more in depth into the case itself and focuses (quite rightly) more on the victim and the details of the case. I'm British, and while I completely understand how awful the whole experience was for Caroline, she has been quite a divisive character over here... I can't imagine how awful it must have been for the victims family having to sit and watch her essentially make it all about her.
very much enjoying the sisterly banter 😂
So I just watched the documentary last night so it’s super fresh in my mind. I don’t think she had any plans to destroy the case, etc. She was imo in a psychotic break as she did record herself on that hike and she was so obviously not well. She had to hike for like 8 hours in the highlands and was digging through cold water and mud in search of that bike…someone on stimulants in a very bad mental state would be totally convinced that they were going to succeed. She thought that her word wasn’t going to be enough and was scared that if she testified and it wasn’t enough, she could be in danger. The police had blown her cover as a witness early on and then she was living with him (at first) as a way to protect herself from him learning the truth of her involvement. Then she was totally isolated in Covid and began to truly spiral out of control. The police also told the mother when she asked if her daughter could seek professional care because of how bad her mental state was that “she can’t tell anyone, not even professionals because it could ruin the case”. So she basically was fearing for her life without any witness protection or psychiatric care, isolated, lost her job she worked 11 years to have, suffering from a trauma bond, and also a drug addiction. That combo makes you really believe so many delusional thoughts. The police failed her because she didn’t meet the criteria for a “vunerable witness” as they said. She of course has responsibility and I think it was obvious in the documentary that she has really accepted that and has since done a lot of therapy and work on herself to see the whole picture. But when you’re in a situation like that, you really can lose your mind and believe whatever can help you cope through something. Not only that, but the physical toll of stress, malnutrition from constant stimulant use, lack of sleep, etc also compounds everything. Just my take!
"Rejected man starts house fire" is PURE GOLD
Not me panicking for a second thinking Thursday was changing up the Annie + Amy routine. 😂 I genuinely love the vibes you girls bring every week. It feels real, balanced, funny, and respectful - especially with the way you always take accountability and give updates as needed. Weekly Annie & Amy energy is mandatory at this point! ❤
Hantavirus is a NOTHING burger. Directly from the CDC: The Andes virus is the only type of hantavirus that is known to spread person-to-person. This spread is usually limited to people who have close contact with the ill person.
Never been more happy to do homework or hear a discussion about it afterwards. More of this please. 😂
