I was completely floored when RFK called it out, I was like this will be great for the well being of the world! Thank you for what you do!!
Dr Baker had a Nero doc who had a case where a guy with ALS has stabilized and it’s been about 5 years and the guy is still able to work.

Dr. Chaffee and Elle, 🎉CONGRATULATIONS on your recent engagement!!! 💗 I was listening to the replay and heard your announcement and I’m over the moon for you guys. Simply awesome!!! You make a wonderful couple and a wonderful family. Thank you for sharing your exciting news with all your followers. I think sometimes we think we know you guys because you’re so open about your life, to an extent, so congrats!!! I want to share my own carnivore success here in the comments, as I hope it helps just one person regain their life back. After several years of struggling with the unexpected, tragic loss of my first son, who was only 23 yrs old at the time, I had reached an all time low in life. I had gained a ton of weight, I was depressed, my professional life was suffering and my health was turning on me and I really was lost. I’m not a big drinker, however, I was literally killing myself with food, dealing with the pain of losing a child. I was eating all the wrong foods all the time, to excess. Fast food, pizza, fancy coffees, sweets, crazy carbs, pasta, alcohol on occasion, no exercise at all and burning the candle at both ends. I was a mess. The only thing I had done was give up soda, because the soda was a major addiction and put the pounds on like crazy. Anyway, after years of abusing my body, gaining a ton of weight, dealing with depression and then lucky me, being in the throws of menopause, struggling with hot flashes, crying all the time and awful sleep patterns, not to mention navigating all kinds of new autoimmune issues, I accidentally found carnivore on YouTube. It sounded crazy, eating only meat and only drinking water, no vegetables and no coffee??? How is that good for you? I This started my quest and quench for knowledge. I did a ton of research. I began following all the names we all know in the carnivore world and I finally felt empowered to just give it a try. After all, I knew I needed to take drastic measures to get my life and get my health back on track without medication, so my 90 day carnivore journey began. Last year, when I began, I weighed 230 lbs. I’m 5’9” and was age 54 at the time. I believed at the time, I was able to “conceal the extra weight” with clothing and because of my height, but it quickly became impossible to hide. I felt horrible. My wardrobe had expanded from a size 10 to a size 18 in just a few short years. My doctor warned me if you don’t get your weight under control, it will be very difficult to lose as you get older. After the first week of carnivore, I already began to feel a little better, but omg the coffee and sugar cravings were SO HARD to push through. I definitely went through a lot of oxalate dumping. My joints ached terribly in the middle of the night, I dealt with diarrhea, headaches, and mood swings. I remember my first meal was steak and eggs and it tasted like the best meal I had ever had. My body was literally craving meat. I forgot to share, that previous to carnivore, I was also dealing with tingling in my toes, sometimes even so badly, I couldn’t feel my toes or walk very well. I the needle feeling in my toes would keep me up all night long. Within a few weeks, my nerves in my toes were no longer on fire. My sleep was immediately improving. My mood started to improve, I was crying less and dealing with fewer and fewer hot flashes. In fact, my period even returned, which completely freaked me out, but I had learned, this is common and can happened. It was short lived and only happened that one time for a week. Anyway, I journaled everything….how I felt, when I ate, when I drank water, how much sleep I was getting, how much activity I was adding into my days and within 30 days, my hormones, my attitude, my energy level, my eyesight, my extreme joint stiffness issues literally disappeared and I had lost 15 lbs!!! Now you could say this was mostly water, but I had so many other major improvements happening simultaneously, that weight loss was a side benefit. My life was changing course at this point. I became so excited about how my life and health was quickly improving, it was the fuel for my next 60 days. I became a “carnivore junkie,” so to speak. I would tell everyone who asked me what I was doing, about carnivore. Usually, they thought I was crazy. I also incorporated fasting, which really helped my body to heal. I learned about fasting from Mindy Pelz who wrote, “Run Like A Girl.” She’s on YouTube and really opening my eyes to the female body and our hormones, partnered with fasting. In turn, the swelling in my joints went down dramatically after two months of carnivore. My clothes started to get very loose and soon, I had reached my 90 day goal. I had went from 230 lbs down to 165 lbs. I was shocked! I did have a slight stall for about 2 weeks, but then my weight loss continued pretty steadily after that and I was able to reach my goal. I’ve stayed between 163 - 165 lbs consistently over this last year, even with adding back in a few things like coffee. It’s quite easy to understand eat on carnivore, so you have to remember to feed your body. Also getting out in the sun was super important. I made that part of my daily routine, as well as walking as much as possible and even incorporated lifting weights after the 90 days. Keep in mind, I did this challenge through all the holidays, which was super hard, but I was determined to reach my goal. I also had crazy energy, so who doesn’t appreciate that during the holidays? I’ll be celebrating one year of carnivore this September 12th 2024. I’ve never felt stronger at age 55. I’m a better Mom, a better partner to a beautiful man who stood by myself during this entire journey and a better friend, since I decided to take this 90 day, life-changing journey. My main foods were various types of red fatty beef, butter, bacon, eggs and some fish and only water. I was quite strict. As I stated, I did add coffee back into my diet and occasionally I will have a bite or two of something sweet, but honestly, you can feel how it affects you the very next day and that can easily stop your results. If that happens, I give myself grace and start right back up again with carnivore. I don’t beat myself up. Thank you to Dr Chaffee and Dr Ken Barry, who were my primary motivators, but there are tons of other leading carnivore folks out there who I learned from. Thank you for my new lease on life and health. If you’re wanting to change your life for the better, I say give this a try. You can do anything for 90 days….or even make it a way of life. For me, this transformation was more than the scale, it saved my life both mentally and physically and gave me a new beginning for the next chapter of my life. ❤
I had cancer last year and am doing carnivore prior to my check up in November excited to be healthy
