A beautiful experience and a beautiful human being. My mother's death decimated my life, and three years later left me with anger against God and anger against her. Karen's authenticity puts those feelings aside and gives me hope that we haven't been abandoned and that someday I'll see my mom again. 🙏

I was 8yrs old and my Mother had taken me to the local pool for a swim. She was sun bathing and talking to her friend. I could not swim so I was only in the baby/shallow end. I got out of the pool and walked towards my Mother talking to her friend. It was at the deep end of the pool but I was looking down into the water. Some other kids were running around the pool chasing each other. One of the kids pushed me in while my back was to them. I fell into the cold water. I struggled to call for my Mother and tried to grab the edge to no avail. I don't know how long I was down but from what I was told someone dove in as I was at the bottom of the pool. When I think about it I can still feel the panic and the water I was sucking in. Next thing that happened was I was floating above my body looking down at everyone. All the Kids, my Mother, her friend and Paramedics. I saw my mother and her friend crying and talking. I couldn't make out what they were saying. I could see the Paramedics doing CPR. One doing the breaths and the other pushing on my chest. I could see and feel the yellow/golden light around me. I started floating up towards the light but still looking down at myself being worked on. I Turned around heading to a bright white light. Then a voice said "It's not your time". Before I could say anything I was back in my body instantly and took a gasp. I was in a Coma for 10 days. I should be brain dead or a vegetable as they used to say. I woke from my Coma to see my Mother and Step-Dad. I told my Mother I could see her upset. She asked me how. I told her and she sort of shrugged it off or said don't be silly. I even told her where she was kneeling and everybody around her and where they were in relation to my body. We never spoke about what happened. I listen to NDE's and a lot say those words I heard" It's not your time." It proves of the afterlife and even in a world full of Thomas's I'm not crazy.

I love it when you can tell someone is telling the truth. This would be a very comforting thing to watch for anyone who is struggling with grief.
