I got my ged while serving overseas in the navy in 1980. In 1983 I was honorably discharged and the next year got hired as a machinist at a oil refinery. 42 yrs later living comfortably. The skilled trades taught common sense and troubleshooting, independent thinking. I never had to owe anyone favors or suck a dick to move ahead. College only creates debt.

In the next 10 years all colleges will be OUT OF BUSINESS

As a retired electrician, I can tell you that going through an electrical apprenticeship is not easy but to get paid as you learn a skilled trade is rewarding and they will never eliminate your job.

My stepdad said this 24 years ago. Not long after we talked about this he passed away. Basically just about all people who work at construction, plumbing, etc. Knew all about this and have been talking about it for years!!

The man knows what's he is talking about.
