Description

Iran says a US proposal to end the war is "still being considered", after reports the two sides could be close to an agreement. The White House believes it could be closing in on a 14-point memorandum of understanding with Iran, according to a report by US news outlet Axios. A senior member of Iran's parliament dismissed it as a "wish list", while a foreign ministry spokesman said Tehran would share its views of a US proposal with Pakistani mediators. The Washington Post: ‘In all, The Post found 217 structures and 11 pieces of equipment that were damaged or destroyed at 15 U.S. military sites in the region. Experts who reviewed the analysis said the damage at the sites suggested that the U.S. military had underestimated Iran’s targeting abilities, not adapted sufficiently to modern drone warfare and left some bases under-protected. ‘The Iranian attacks were precise. There are no random craters indicating misses,’ said Mark Cancian, a senior adviser with the Center for Strategic and International Studies and a retired Marine Corps colonel, who reviewed the Iranian images at our request. The Post previously revealed how Russia provided Iran with intelligence to target U.S. forces. During the war, Iranian state-affiliated news agencies repeatedly shared their own satellite imagery of damage at U.S. bases. The Post verified the authenticity of 109 of the those Iranian satellite images by comparing them with lower-resolution imagery from the European Union’s satellite system, Copernicus, as well as high-resolution images from Planet where available. No Iranian imagery was found to have been manipulated.’

A tacit admission of failure by the USA. It isn't able to impose surrender terms so it has to propose a settlement. Oh how the mighty USA has crapped out.

Has spent last 18 months doing exact opposite of what he was elected to do. End wars, stop fueling them and concentrate upon improving living within America for Americans.

The U.S. got a very bloody nose from the Iran War and the fact that the Pentagon has classified the damage done to it's regional bases proves it.

An armored battalion could not "open" a freeway if drivers knew there was a sniper on the route. Hormuz is the definition of asymmetric warfare.
