I’m in Oregon and I was a dem most of my life. It wasn’t until the last election that I voted republican for the first time. Mainly because I watched the city I grew up in become overrun with tent cities to the point where we stopped taking our kids downtown or to city parks. I also watched our dem government go insane with covid policies and I have teacher friends and other parents telling me about the woke bs in schools. My kids are homeschooled because of covid policy and liberal activism in schools. I’m ready for Oregon to go in another direction because they turned my hometown into Portland and I’m not happy about it. The dems here are just trying to run smear ads on the Republicans, name calling and yelling about abortion. They don’t have any plans to do anything different than what they’ve been doing. They’re literally running on “The Republican candidates are maga Trump and we’re not.” I don’t give af about Trump and I don’t care who you’re not like, I want to be able to afford gas and groceries and not have to explain to my children why there are people living in filth on the cold wet sidewalks. It’s not compassionate to let people live like that. I’m voting red all the way down the ticket and everyone I know is too.
