So glad to see the Prestige ranked so highly. It's my personal favorite.
An odd thought I had about the Dark Knight and Joker's final test. What if, while he said the triggers were for the other boat, they were for your own? The Civilians trigger the bomb to kill the convicts, only for their own boat to explode. Then everyone thinks the Convicts hit the button. I think it would be in line with the Joker's motivations and goals. Let's face it, he's not trustworthy and he pulled a similar bait and switch earilier in the film.
Ben's a little flawed in his bomb theory. He'd pull the trigger because he doesn't trust the murderers, but he trusts the Joker to tell the truth? I guarantee if he pulls that trigger, it'll blow up his own boat. 😂
Matthew McConaughey should have been nominated for Interstellar.
I like to think the Joker ACTUALLY gave each boat their own trigger. It seems more in-character that he would have people blow themselves up and the survivors get blamed for it...
The Prestige almost never gets talked about. It's still my #1 Nolan movie
Interstellar is my favorite movie of all time it's not even close. As a father to a beautiful 8yr old little girl that movie not only hits a soft spot as a father/daughter love story. But the way they play with relativity and wormholes and dimensions ect... My god it is a MASTERPIECE
I love Tenet, even though it’s scientifically goofy—but who other than Nolan can make an interesting action film about the nature of entropy
Detach score @9:50 BEAUTIFUL!
I had the incredible opportunity to meet Nolan in Venice years ago. His wife took our picture for me. He was very nice.
