I am from SoCal and I know a lot of democrats who voted for Trump because of RFK. This is something everybody should agree with. Get the BS out of our food.

I don't understand why people think a man who thinks he is a woman is better as secretary of health then a man who knows he is a man

As someone studying IN the medical/nutrition field, nothing convinces me more about the need for RFK Jr than hearing “experts” say he’s a bad idea

I'm a doctor who is super interested in nutrition and preventative health. I'm very excited that RFK is finally bringing this dialogue about food and health to the forefront of the conversation. This is so important and our unhealthy lifestyles are largely contributing to our worse outcomes compared to other developed nations. My only concern with RFKs dialogue thus far is I think he is misdirected in what "high yield" targets are for our health. While it's true that certain chemicals may be contributing to adverse health outcomes, the extent of their contribution is largely unknown and unstudied. While I am all for more data further elucidating this additives, there is already a super high yield target that I feel he is addressing inadequately: obesity. We know that obesity increases multimorbitity to a drastic extent. And obesity first and foremost is due to an excess of calories. Targeting the hypercaloric, hyperpalatable food that is easily excessible, encourging adjustments in our food that lower calories, and promoting a culture that emphasizes a more balanced diet with lower calorie, filling, voluminous food should be our top priority.

Columbia U. Dr. of Nutrition here. (Professor at Pace U. and a conservative.) Really happy that we're looking at nutrition. The evidence needs to be teased out and better explained to the public.

No fluoride in our drinking water ….. no seed oils in our foods … that’s a hell of a start
