Don’t these people ever get tired of being this angry about something? Surely this isn’t healthy.
They are upset it will forever be called the Trump Ballroom.
They simply hate the idea that there will be a 'Trump Ballroom' forever imprinted on the White House. They would prefer to erase his presence
The East Wing was built by FDR during WW2 for the express reason of hiding a bunker where the President could run the country in case of attack. It was an empty facade, on purpose, when built. Offices were added later.
