If you change the basic tenets of Catholicism, it is no longer Catholicism.
This is the least catholic pope in 100 years.
I wholeheartedly agree with Ben: "The Bible is the standard." Many of us, on any given day, fall short of this standard. However, it does not mean we get to change the standard because it challenges our identity or behaviour. This doesn't imply that sinners aren't welcome at church; on the contrary, we attend to grow as better Christians in the eyes of God.
Evil has infiltrated the church at the highest levels.
Remember when “is the Pope Catholic?” used to be a rhetorical question?
“We all fall short of that standard but the standard is the standard”. Great line
The former Pope retired saying he was too weak to fight the evil... within the Vatican.
The whole body of the Catholic faithful are praying in full distress about this madness.

This Pope is really left.
