CIVIL WAR: Red America vs. Blue America; Plus... Fmr. PM Liz Truss Stops By
Analyzing UK Establishment Resistance and US Redistricting Conflicts
Gain critical insight into how entrenched bureaucracies thwart conservative efforts in Britain, while understanding the mathematical tipping points driving aggressive redistricting battles in the United States.
Short Summary
- The interview details former UK Prime Minister Liz Truss’s experience battling a captured administrative state, judiciary, and centralized economic bodies (Bank of England).
- Analysts detail how flawed census data and explicit political geometry grant Republicans a potential net gain of 12–15 House seats through aggressive gerrymandering.
- Data shows profound negative shifts in young adult personality traits—decreased conscientiousness and agreeableness—mirroring high political polarization.
- This discussion connects policy fights in London with cultural shifts like the Sydney Sweeney backlash and WNBA controversy, treating frivolous internet events as symptoms of deeper social decay.
This episode combines an in-depth critique of institutional capture in the United Kingdom with current American political forecasts driven by population shifts and map-drawing necessity. Readers will learn which established UK institutions Truss identifies as corrupt and how current Democratic polling realities are accelerating Republican gerrymandering efforts nationwide.

Thank you Ben ! Loved the interview
Boris Johnson was London Mayor when we had the Woke Olympic ceremony…..he also massively ramped up immigration. Boris is a Liberal, not a Conservative.
Truss is right about bureaucracy in Britain. It's why the 1980s comedy 'Yes, Minister' is still relevant.
Excellent interview from Liz Truss, too bad that she is not still in power
Very insightful. Thanks for confirming what I have always thought. It is a pleasure to have clarity on what is actually happening and not spun by the media
Having spent 10 years in Ministry,Truss should have known what she was walking into & chosen her battles more carefully. You eat an elephant by taking small bites.
You don’t fail by being great, you fail for apologizing by your greatness.
Ben's listening always reminds me of a lion hiding in the bushes and stalking his prey... 😂 love you, Ben!
Well done Ben, one of the few shows i still love. Keep up the good work. 👍
The idea that anyone should take any advice from the woman who was outdone by a lettuce is crazy
