LOL!!! George Floyd's family?? gave up on him years ago, until Al Sharpton told them they could get millions from this case. Period.
The fact that the jury were being intimidated alone should have led to a mistrial.
I think it’s pretty fair to say this man was NOT given a fair trial.
"I had done something wrong. My viewpoint changed." Mad respect. Ben you've been a blessing to America. Thank you.
Autopsy and everything else aside, the trial seemed off to me just because of the potential for jury intimidation. If they had decided on anything less than 22 1/2 years for Chauvin, this country would’ve burned worse than it already did back then in 2020. I’ve never seen such an emotionally charged trial in my lifetime. You will not convince me that the jurors or their families wouldn’t be in danger if they hadn’t handed down Chauvin’s current sentence. John Adams once said we’re a nation of laws, not men. But my gut tells me that the mob got their way that day. The jurors couldn’t afford to do anything else. Not when their own safety, and the safety of their families was at risk.
Wasn’t one of the jurors photographed wearing a “justice for George” T-shirt prior to his jury selection ? that alone demands a new trial .
I never thought he was really Guilty, but after watching "The Fall of Minneapolis" Documentary, I'm convinced he was set up as a fall guy!
I would like to see Ben represent Chauvin in court, as long as we could watch it on DW.
As with OJ, the court feared a race riot if Chàuvin was acquitted.
The elephant in the room is: who in its right mind wants to be a police officer in this day and age? I personally think just for wanting to join the police force, you should get a medal of valor
