Kharkiv was 1.4 million people city where way above 70% of people speak Russian. Putin attacked Kharkiv with rockets, drones, shelling (in 2022). This is all you need to know about “protecting Russian-speaking population”of Ukraine.

I am Ukrainian, and while watching the video I caught myself thinking that all these horrific images that shock most viewers no longer shock me. These attacks have become a part of our lives, have become "normal". It's really scary

I am a Reagan conservative. I am absolutely staggered by what I see from a huge contingent of conservatives as they appear to be abandoning core principles I’ve strongly embraced my whole life. As conservatives, we have always stood for freedom, national sovereignty, and the defense of democratic allies against authoritarian aggression. Ronald Reagan understood the dangers of Soviet expansionism and championed a strong America that stood up for those fighting for liberty. Ukraine is doing exactly that—fighting against an unprovoked invasion by Putin’s Russia, a regime that seeks to undermine not just Ukraine’s independence but the stability of Europe and America’s global leadership. If we abandon Ukraine, we send a message to every dictator that the U.S. no longer defends freedom, making the world more dangerous for us and our allies. Supporting Ukraine is not about endless foreign entanglements—it’s about ensuring that dictators like Putin don’t redraw borders by force, destabilizing the world and emboldening our greatest adversaries, including China. If we allow Russia to succeed, it sets a dangerous precedent for aggression in Taiwan and beyond. Strong American leadership has always meant standing with those who fight tyranny, just as Reagan did when he helped bring down the Soviet Union. We should not turn our backs on Ukraine now—doing so would be a betrayal of our conservative principles and a gift to those who seek to weaken America’s influence and security.

Calling the Russo-Ukrainian war "a proxy war" is tantamount to calling the American Revolution "a proxy war of France against Britain"

I rarely agree with Shapiro on any topic but it's reassuring to see him here with a firm grasp of what this conflict is about as opposed to the many right wing US commentators who are in Putin's back pocket.

As a Lithuanian (we call Ukrainians our brothers and sisters) I want to thank you for this video and the truth said in it.
