145%. It’s a bidding war do I hear 170%, can we get to over 9000% Tariff?
Great overview of the issue, boiled down into a convenient 10-minute video. Waiting to see what happens next... Many thanks!
Just imagine American president who care about America…that is a fresh start for American people!!
We are a small business who has purchased products from China. While orders are on ocean cargo we now have tariffs from 20% to 125% due on arrival. I agree with pressuring China to change its trade policy, however not giving US businesses time the cancel orders is financially harming US businesses.
The position the U.S. is now in is NOT better than the position we were in 8 days ago. The DOW is down 2600 points from 8 days ago. More countries view the U.S. as unreliable players.
The whole world is watching to see if Trump is bluffing the Pooh.
100% agree for tariffs on China.
What matters most in a tariff war isn't the extent of the impact, but which side can withstand the pressure for longer.
"That may be pain worth going through." Well said mon ami.
My concern regarding this "war" is that China: 1) doesn't care about the well being their people, and 2) are always playing the long game They also don't seem too dissimilar from the Russian mindset of choosing/accepting misery to further their political cause. Additionally, they know Trump is limited to four years (practically 2 if Dems win midterms) so the Chinese might choose to play bloody knuckles.
