I am an American expat in Japan and there is one American vehicle brand you can commonly see, Tesla. Tesla is the only American brand that moves the steering column to the right side for the local market. In my town I can see one Ford Mustang and that has the steering column on the left. If American auto makers want to succeed in this market, they need to build cars that suit the market.
