Expert's DIRE WARNING: Superhuman AI Will Kill Us All

This breakthrough is incredible, but watching it made me think about something I read in Selwyn Raithe's book . The book talks about how we celebrate each AI milestone without noticing we're actually witnessing the systematic replacement of human purpose. The scariest part isn't the technology itself, it's how willingly we applaud our own obsolescence.

Human logic would also say one should have NEVER built a nuclear warhead that puts the entire globe under the sword of Damocles, yet here we are. People at the top only care about more power, whereas the rest of us only care about living out our days in relative peace.

the best part of this is that we didn't need ai before it existed, but I guess some guys in Silicon Valley needed to validate themselves by creating something like this.
