One of the biggest mistakes we as a society made was treating our politicians as celebrities, not as public servants.
Krystal letting Saager get his GQ rant off is great lmao
Sagaar gets the prize for saying "AOC is too much of a narcissist to quit." She plays this role perfectly. She manages to deflect blame for lack of progressive policy onto the voters (but when we do "bring the ruckus," it's the wrong ruckus at the wrong time with the wrong tone). Meanwhile, she postures, poses, and skates by with fans who seem to want to believe that being a cover girl and frequent glamour guest of the powerful is some Clintonian strategy for getting underneath the rich to appeal to them on our behalf. She can't possibly believe that being at an awards ceremony in a designer gown would do the working American more good than being involved at a protest outside the banquet hall. And this idea that Pelosi doesn't love her is absurd. They all have their roles to play, and Mama Bear knows she can count on The Squad to cave then tweet out some revolutionary call to arms....that they won't be leading.
Saagar's face while Krystal is reading the intro + the intro to the GQ article is everything
I don't line up with saagar ideologically but he's funny lol. Him ragging on GQ was great.
This article is beyond "fawning", it is outright sycophantic.
First of all, more than half of Americans are women... Americans hate cringe, and AOC churns out cringe too often. It overshadows any good policies she may have. This article is a perfect example of it.
Skipped over the part where she doubts marrying her fiance because he is white.
AOC is an influencer cosplaying as a working member of Congress…
Saagar: "I can't tell you if I'm going to be alive in September!' (checks watch) lmfao
