I would appreciate full disclosure from all members of the media and the government that when they speak about government run education that they need to admit they did or (highly unlikely) did not send their own kids to private schools. Rules for thee but not for my precious.

I think it's very important to highlight that the localities that would be hit the hardest by the destruction of the DOE is rural schools and rural special ed schools in red states that already received far more from the Federal government than they get from taxes.
