How about we don't give out student loans for massive debt with a degree that doesn't pay... Or maybe that because of these easy to obtain government backed student loans, colleges know they have guaranteed income so there's no reason to keep costs down or inversely increase tuition
The greater hardships are caused by medical debt…..and that debt is not by choice
Marshall is on point about fixing the underlying system. Also seems to believe that all the massive student debt is a problem that needs to be addressed. So,good opening statement from him.
love watching your show live, hope you can do this is many states across USA, we need it 😍
Marshall hit the jackpot. Government backing student loans at no discretion of the price is what incentivizes colleges to increase "costs". Look at what just happened to the housing market. Loans were stupid cheap and drove up the "costs" / prices of homes. In reality, sure costs drove up but what really increased was demand. Everyone wanted a home. Everyone wanted a degree. Thus, the price setters can set the price anywhere they want to because the consumers i.e. students and homebuyers keep coming back.
You need to have a day of the week when it is Kyle and Marshall on Breaking Points.
More of this please; allowing dissenting opinion to speak. We can’t agree upon solutions if we can’t first agree upon the problems.
Tax the Universities
It's unfortunate how much Krystal and Kyle interrupted Saagar and Marshall.
Did not enjoy this. The people on the right side of the stage spoke way longer than the people on the left. This stage needs a moderator.
