Any person in an actual technical job knows how bad ai is. It looks great to managers who know nothing technical and all they do is sit in meetings, read emails, eat hot chip and lie

Data centers are for mass surveillance not AI

I think the first step is to stop calling it AI. There is no intelligence there. It's LLMs.

"Too big to fail" should always mean "Too big to be privately held" Nationalization, not bail outs.

You can have both: a technocracy that uses AI for control and an economic collapse for control.

I wrote a letter to Sen. Jeff Merkley asking him to introduce a bill that says basically "If the taxpayers are forced to bail out another market bubble then they own what they buy." No more privatizing the gains and then socializing the loses on the taxpayers backs. I have not heard back from his office.

Wow, the ad hominem attacks are really unprofessional, honestly, for a financial news network

8:20 this is a common mistake, the AIs that are helping advance scientific research or mathematics are not these LLMs that are constantly demanding more and more data centres and investments. The AI believers keep lumping it all together because without that they have zero to justify the out of control investment being sunk into these LLMs.

Missing out on 'gains' when a bubble is raging, even for years, is not being wrong. As every fool joins the party, the risk grows higher and higher. Grantham is no fool. He became a billionaire through avoiding dangerous bubbles.
