This guy is making Ezra's point. He's going through all the reasons why there's no broadband, and categorizing it as essentially fine because of the reasons for the process, republicans, etc etc. There are always reasons. Ezra is saying to be outcome focused, not process focused. Did you build broadband? No? Then you failed. Be angry at the failure, don't make excuses for why you failed. Stop failing.

So basically over regulation of the public sector is done so that the corporate sector can be made to seem more competitive. When it really isn't. The corporate sector always, always wants higher prices and less competition.

As someone who grew up in rural Virginia, I was so excited when I heard the news about places like where I grew up getting access to broadband internet. Unfortunately, all the hope has died because of all of this bullshit bureaucracy and regulation
