Why would you consult the pod save bros on anything other than being a dem human centipede?
This guy is making Ezra's point. He's going through all the reasons why there's no broadband, and categorizing it as essentially fine because of the reasons for the process, republicans, etc etc. There are always reasons. Ezra is saying to be outcome focused, not process focused. Did you build broadband? No? Then you failed. Be angry at the failure, don't make excuses for why you failed. Stop failing.
So basically over regulation of the public sector is done so that the corporate sector can be made to seem more competitive. When it really isn't. The corporate sector always, always wants higher prices and less competition.
Homie got that kid explaining what happened with his friends in the principle's office energy.
17:50 this is precisely part of the argument of the book lol. There should be less opportunity to slow down gov project through lawsuits etc. he clearly either didn’t read the book or didn’t understand it.
If only internet was available from satellites in space….. oh wait
It has to be near impossible to cover this much nuance in anything other than long-form video. Kudos to whoever selected this guest and to Ryan for his questions.
As someone who grew up in rural Virginia, I was so excited when I heard the news about places like where I grew up getting access to broadband internet. Unfortunately, all the hope has died because of all of this bullshit bureaucracy and regulation
That Pod Save bro's wrists were so thin, they look like they might snap under the weight of a pencil.
Great interview!
