I mean relatively unsecure boxes like that make no fucking sense. Period.

I don't understand why these drop boxes are even out there. As a Canadian I can tell you, you have three choices on how to vote, one by mail in ballot which must be requested in advance and is mailed to your home address and you mail it back. Two, vote early at a early polling station. Three, show up on election day at the correct polling station. You will not be allowed to vote if you are not on the voting register and it is your responsibility to make sure prior to election day you are on the registry and then still ID is required. All ballots are manually counted with liberal and conservative observers at each polling station and then called in. Use the KISS principle, Keep It Simple Stupid.
