$2,300 for a one bedroom in Astoria is not a "steal," it is a scam - that's the *whole point.* It used to be an incredibly affordable neighborhood, but in the last 15 years it has gotten completely out of control. In the 90s my cousins got a 2 bedroom in that area for $900. Thanks to rent stability it only went up to $1500 to this day. Their newer neighbors are spending upwards of $2400. Cuomo has no clue what he is talking about. Yeah, Zohran grew up privileged, but guess what? He's trying to help the less privileged. What the heck do you have to your name, Cuomo? *You don't even live here.*

Can someone ask Andrew Cuomo why he refuses to pronounce Zohran‘s last name correctly?

Imagine thinking a person is homeless because a $2,300 per month apartment is unavailable.

So Cuomo would rather talk about Mamdani's living conditions than issues.
