So glad you had Naomi on!! Only wish Emily had truly listened to what she actually said. It seemed Emily wanted to make Naomi some kind of punch line which to any thinking person did not work (if you listened to what Naomi said), but at the end Emily clung to her idea that somehow Naomi deserves what we are getting now because she was anti-globalization - without hearing her point that Trump doesn’t care about bringing jobs back to humans in the USA, is investing in AI and destroying the regulations that would ensure strong wages and workers rights. Naomi is an intellectual giant who has analyzed globalized capitalism with rigorous evidence and investigative journalism her entire career and Emily dismissed her with “these leftist positions..” Thank you Ryan for trying to gracefully upend Emily’s attempt to “make a point” with taking the interview very seriously and the Germany story.
