I'm an Orthodox Christian in a Muslim majority nation and I've been against this ethnic cleansing since the beginning not just because I know religious discrimination can happen to me, but because my neighbours are Muslims, my old friends from school are Muslims. The innocent women, children, and men who've died are people with families who love them. The cowardice to tell the truth and condemn the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians until one of your own is affected is evil. How can someone be a Christian and ignore the indiscriminate murder of innocents and the destruction of a society?

I'm very surprised that neither Krystal nor Emily mentioned that this isn't the first time the Holy Family Church in Gaza was attacked. In December 2023, just before Christmas, an IDF sniper killed two Christian women, a mother and daughter, who had sought shelter in the church. The IDF later made the claim that its forces were responding to Hamas fire in the area, which was angrily denied by Catholic officials. Israel then said they would investigate further, but nothing came of this.

Oh btw - this is not the first church attacked or first time Christians have been attacked ..
