Bryan Johnson is critically important for the health of our generations
I started working from home when COVID started, and I don't ever want to go back to an office environment. I make a modest salary and I'm not willing to go back to hustling for a few more dollars. Not for me.
He is very respectful of his fellow humans. There seems to be absolutely no judgment towards another point of view. He listens thoughtfully to another perspective, and gentle stands in his own truth.❤
I really like that he’s very humble and wants to share all the knowledge. The concept of “living forever” can comes across as gimmicky but he’s just using science to live his best possible life.
Since following Brian's work I decided to really start taking my sleep seriously, and was curious to figure out if I could optimise my sleep around night wake ups with my 6 month old. Using sleep tracking I figured out that as long as I'm asleep at least 3hrs before the first night feed the repeated wake ups hardly impact my deep and REM sleep. This has been huge for me, I never would have thought to try this on my own. Also, Brian is completely right about not noticing shit the shittier you feel. I travelled Europe to Japan (12hr shift) for a holiday when the baby was 3 months old and I honestly felt no effects of jet lag whatsoever. I was just... still exhausted. That was a real warning sign for me that I needed to fix my sleep ASAP You guys are doing great work :)
Like the "I must rush it" mindset that actually slows you down. The slow is smooth and smooth is fast idea really worked better for me.
sleep is essential. Health is wealth
It always surprises me when I go into a medical setting and everyone is overweight and clearly not looking after themselves while caring for others. It's also interesting that most people would absolutely take advice from a doctor than some longevity personality on YouTube.
The way Bryan talks about stress and hustle culture hits deep… It feels like a reminder that slowing down is not weakness but actual strength 🌿🕊️
The society needs you Bryan. The world may try to discredit you because you raise real issues like the air quality in India that the government doesn't like. But please never give up.
