The only time the Republican Party ever talks about deficits and debts is as soon as a Democrat wins the Presidency.

In the 2023 STOU speech, Biden wasn't calling the repubs out on social security reform, he was calling them out on social security destruction. I thought the guest was a straight shooter?

How about saving money by not going to war for $1B/day?

Firing the IGs wasn't incompetence. They kept two corrupt ones in particular. The IG purge was corruption.

I hate it when pundits reference Social Security and Medicare as an "entitlement", when hardworking Americans pay into it. The revelation this war has proven: WE GOT MONEY. The scare tactic that we don't have money is getting a little tiring.

They failed, I suspect intentionally, to note that the bottom 40% does pay Social Security and Medicare tax.

The inability to even talk about defense spending cuts with any seriousness is always kinda hilarious.

I thought it was called Social Security, Medicare. I am not a fan of the word ENTITLEMENTS! When did our tax dollars become ENTITLEMENTS and not benefits?🤬

One thing that was barely mentioned is where one of the biggest areas of fraud, waste and abuse comes from, the Military Complex. They haven’t managed to balance their budgets in over seven years, and literally trillions of dollars are sucked into that black hole with absolutely no accountability. And that does not even account for the trillions more spent on our military incursions into other countries. All to justify our supposed need for our huge standing army. We could cut our army in half, and still be larger than the next 5 standing armies combined! Why?
