Description

Senator Mark Warner joins Sam Stein to give his take on the Trump administration’s dramatic actions in Venezuela, congressional oversight, and what comes next. Warner warns that extracting a foreign leader, sidelining Congress, and talking openly about “running” other countries reflects an imperial mindset that America has spent decades trying to move away from. No one speaks about the 100 + people that were killed in this operation and their homes that were destroyed! This is deplorable!

Technically, 9/11 was “flawlessly executed,” if we don’t get into the legality or morality. 🙄

Yeah. Remarkable job by the us military. Flawlessly following illegal orders to kidnap a foreign head of state. What a beautifully executed crime. F*** them

The conversation should be "Time to hold Donald Trump accountable instead of letting him do wtf he wants".

Jesus, if this guy is the line for the Democrats against this administration taking other countries I as a Canadian am seriously worried. "What if the president invades Greenland", "well, what would happen, would NATO collapse? They need to think about that hypothetical". Does anyone really think this administration cares if NATO collapses? Wow, just wow.

When the military follows an illegal order, it's not a wonderful job. It's a series of violations of the Uniform Code of Military Justice. Sorry, Senator.

So his first thought was, “My what a 🤌 kidnapping! I didn’t think our military could violate so many laws so impressively! Well done, you!” Sort of undercuts your second thought, IMHO.

This is beyond disgraceful. Denmark is a small country which has always been a very loyal us Ally. This is the most disgusting and contemptible kind of bullying and betrayal.

If other Democrats share what Warner calls his first thought, "great job by the military," we are well and truly fucked
