Hi! OBGYN here. Mifepristone is only utilized under 10 weeks. And it is only used in certain cases. It is an anti-progesterone typically used in conjunction with misoprostol. It is used in elective terminations but also in management of different types of miscarriage or spontaneous abortions. I think it’s really important to highlight that this medication is used to manage a multitude of pregnancy complications. One and five pregnancies ends in a miscarriage and not all of those resolved on their own and require these agents. Otherwise the patient can end up with a more complicated or invasive surgical procedure or end up in the hospital due to sepsis or hemorrhage.

When this is all over, I think all of their assets should be seized, liquidated and the money given back to taxpayers in the form of healthcare, education and infrastructure. All of them!!!!
