Can you imagine JD Vance as president and Tucker Carlson as his vice president? God help us all.
I will never forget him going to Russia to SELL THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ON LIVING WITH A DICTATOR!!!
Miller works Trump exactly like Putin worked Yeltsen. Or maybe better than.
Tucker got mad that he "had to" make dishonest arguments he didn't believe in on Crossfire (a job he chose to do despite being independently wealthy). Then he got mad at John Stewart for criticizing the dishonest arguments on Crossfire. That pretty much sums up the fundamental character flaw behind the man.
That was really interesting. Also made my skin crawl. There are some truly sick people operating out there.
Omg. Just think Tucker and JD together! Nightmare of nightmares.
Tim, I have a suggestion for a future guest: Dutch historian Rutger Bregman. He won Tucker's heart when he called billionaires out on their hypocrisy at Davos a few years ago, but then provoked Tucker into a full-on tantrum shortly afterward by pointing out that he was no better. I think his ideas about "moral ambition" would resonate with you, too--you have already made the life choices he's been urging on people to quit morally compromised "bullsh¡t jobs" and pursue something that would add value to the world.
Really good conversation
If Tucker Carlson is the most powerful person on the right, then the GOP is circling the toilet.
Tim: You WERE looking cute. Always. Thanks for expressing the rage that so many of us feel. It's been cathartic. Keep on keeping on... you're keeping us strong.
