58yr old Canadian here. USA will take decades to build trust with the rest of the world. Fix your laws so this never can happen again. Fix your education system while your at it. 🤬

I want to know why oil sales from Venezuela are being held in an offshore account in the Middle East under Trumps control? Where is that money going and why isn't being held in the US?

When Augustus of ancient Rome wanted absolute power, he didn't abolish the Senate — he made it irrelevant. He kept the titles, the rituals, the marble columns, while quietly moving all real authority to himself. The genius was in the appearance of continuity. Trump follows the same playbook: courts get packed or defied, the press gets labeled enemy of the people, Congress gets bypassed by executive order. The institutions still stand. They just no longer function as checks. Rome didn't fall in a day — it hollowed out from within, one captured institution at a time. Somewhere on the planet, something different is happening. "Offer each other kindness and understanding. Now is the time for empathy, clear thinking, and courage."

The US is hardly a model for democracy and freedom, perhaps they should concentrate on their own country before preaching to others.

We warned them and all they could do is call us "WOKE"! So "WOKE" MUST mean "INTELLIGENT"! I'd rather be called "WOKE" than be called "STUPID".

“Liberating a country” is a phrase often used in a misleading way. Look at Afghanistan, Iraq, Vietnam—many so-called liberations ended up benefiting only a few. In the United States, we seem to be losing sight of what liberalism truly means: freedom, opportunity, and security. As things stand now, it feels less like liberalism and more like manipulation and deception.
