Would love to have an episode about your pregnancy and how it’s been!

This episode hit home HARDDDD. Childhood best friend could never celebrate my wins. After years of gaslighting by them and denial on me, I realized they’re jealous of my life. I had to slowly detach.

I feel this episode so hard especially the intro. Recently lost a friendship over someone being uninterested and not genuinely happy for my wedding planning and trying to make my wedding about them.

I have found that my best friend is happy with good news and sad with bad news, but it's a very minimal, fleeting emotional experience together. She isn't able to really talk things out with me, be a strong voice of reason, wisdom, support, or that much of an active listener, asking questions, or following up and checking in in the days and weeks to follow with how I'm doing. People suggest "don't put all your eggs in one basket" and I've had to learn to do that with my friends, as I have with relationships. I have friends who I will bring major news to first, who may not be my best friend nor am I theirs. But they're just more emotionally engaged and present for me 🤷‍♀️

OMG omg, how do you talk with such discernment, adressing so many points at the same time? A very intelligent and warm podcast, thank you! Looks like so much experience behind it..

This was a gift. Thank you.🙏❤️ You have something here that is so eloquently said. Even through this up & down, deep & shallow as awareness levels of truths, as a listener, THIS is the BEST I've heard in my life on these topics. Thank you again. 🙏❤️

So true Alex , I believe being a true friend celebrates a friends joy regardless of situation, we cant control how people react , we can only control how we deal with our selves and how we respond or react or feel.
