Description

This week, Alex dives into the importance of enjoying alone time. She shares why self-reflection is something to lean into, and how learning to be alone gives you some much more freedom in life. She also talks about when to have the “exclusive” convo and how to set boundaries with your parents as an adult. Finally, she breaks down how to handle tough conversations both in a toxic workplace and in a three-person friend group. Enjoy! Deleted instagram last month, no snapchat or tiktok- and while there's a little tinge of curiosity, for the most part it's just so peaceful and such a relief to be released from all the toxic aspects of social media. No more comparisons, no more jealousy, seeing people "Like" others posts and not yours, etc. I'm Free.

I have been alone a lot in this life, but never felt lonely. If you feel lonely with yourself, there’s a hidden version of you that’s dying to meet you. And once you find her, it’s almost hard to be around others for they aren’t as accepting to yourself and you become. It’s a secret blessing. Not everyone can see it tho ❤️

i deleted my social media which was difficult at first because it’s basically an addiction, but after a while you finally feel freed from the shackles. you get to focus on what really matters in life without being chronically online ❤️❤️

"And suddenly your own presence doesn't feel like a punishment. It feels like a place to come home to." That is a line.

Love this video Alex! I’m single again for the first time as an adult, I’ve been in long term relationships since I was 18 and now I’m 29. I started 2025 by ending a 2.5 year relationship that wasn’t right for me. This year has been so powerful coming to terms with seeing being single as a super power, not a weakness. It’s a strength to be self sufficient, comfortable with my own company, guiding my life only by my own intuition, instinct and inner voice while not being influenced by anyone else. I’ve been on plenty of dates with nice men, but it’s amazing and liberating how much easier it is to know when it’s not the right person and time to end things when I can feel it’s not right. When I was younger, I wasn’t as in tune with myself. 🥰🙏🏼🌹

i’ve been single all my life so i was able to use that time to truly get to know and love myself. you can’t ever do that when you’re always with someone.
