This is Call Her Daddy’s best interview I’ve ever seen. Amazing questions and follow-ups ,vulnerability on both sides, and very interesting

Jennette also asking Alex questions is so cute to me like she’s truly interested in Alex’s answers

I could listen to Jennette speak forever. She’s so intriguing and elegant when she describes things. I appreciate that level of sophistication. I’m glad that she’s made it out of the trench that her mother put her through.

This interview did more for me than 11 months of therapy.

It really breaks my heart to think that her character on iCarly was portrayed as someone who was always eating, taking food from her friend’s fridge, and constantly talking about food, when her real life was so far from that reality. This is such a powerful interview, Alex — thank you so much.

My friends use to tell me all the time if no one his age wants him there’s something wrong with him. That woke me up VERY quick.

Jennette is a rare case of a famous person who truly does not need the fame to make her books successful

33:42 I think the book’s success helping her find closure would have a lot to do with the fact it meant millions of people agreed that her trauma was valid. Being understood and supported in how you feel is such a huge help in overcoming what you’ve been through
