When my mom married my dad she was excited to take his last name because she had an abusive childhood and my dad’s family welcomed her into theirs with open arms. My fiancé had a similar traumatic childhood and my parents embraced him like a son. He wants to take my last name. ❤
After watching this I asked my fiance if he would take my last name when we get married instead and he said “ok if that’s what you want” - he passed the test guys ✅
It would be amazing if you got Alex Consani
My husband and I both had abusive fathers, so we sold the rights to our last name. At our wedding people paid $50 per entry and got to put any name they wanted in the draw! We ended up making $1400 and ended up with a last name we both love and embrace. A fresh start.
The glow is undeniable!!

To the woman that has been with her boyfriend long term and does not get invited to all the weddings: The more important question is often how the boyfriend handles it. Many people in long-term relationships choose to decline an invitation if their partner is excluded, while others attend and discuss it openly with their partner. There is no universal rule, but mutual respect and communication are important. After many years together, most people want to feel that they are recognized as a couple. Feeling hurt by repeated exclusions is a very understandable reaction. I’m with Alex , sit his ass down and talk to him, that is just rude. Uhhhh 🙄
With the getting married and changing names - as with everything, it’s about having choice. If you have no choice, then it’s probably not for you ❤
Alex you need to make a Sunday session on how to get over your partners past, especially if they’ve lied to you about it!!!
Can we please have follow-ups to all these questions. Daddy gang, please write in the answers to Alex’s questions. I'm hooked on your stories! 😂
