Only insiders, including members of Congress and the administration, get to time the market.
My local guy who I look in the eye when we exchange metal for currency charges me spot.
Premiums on 1oz silver coins in Australia when buying direct from the mint are over 10%
Gold and Silver will only head higher and continue higher after the DXY starts a downward path and stays on that path , until then the beatings will continue until morale improves !
Telling retail to avoid buying physical and jump into ETFs is exactly the problem my fren

Danny. Consider my hypothesis. Run it by Chris. What if the big physical consumers of gold & silver (central banks, manufacturing) have already decoupled from the Western spot-price, and are instead purchasing in bulk more directly from miners/refiners *at a much higher price*. The 300-500 silver prediction; what if the repricing has already occurred out of necessity outside of the spot system, and that the establishment is making great effort to keep the spot/contract price down, to maintain the illusion that "gold" and "silver" are not so hot, in order to keep the stock market and whole fiat system inflated and the public away from hard assets ("You'll own nothing and be happy"). "But then retail would be able to buy at a lower price". Yes, it's a concession by the establishment. But do they really care? How much is retail really buying? How much trading is really going on with retail dealers? Bill Holter said most of his orders are the public selling, and that retail is flushed. Very few people in society actually buy gold/silver, and the ones that do are, combined, tiny compared to big manufacturing and banks. "Wouldn't the banks and manufacturers just gobble up all the gold/silver from the retail ecosystem at the lower price". Same as above; I imagine there is such a tiny proportion of physical gold/silver in the retail ecosystem compared to central-banks/manufacturing needs that it's not worthwhile. And maybe the big institutions are under instruction to leave the retail ecosystem alone. "How does the establishment replenish gold/silver into the retail ecosystem at the lower price". It is SO important for the establishment to keep the stock market inflated and general public away from hard assets that perhaps they set up shell companies to buy gold/silver from refiners, and then sell it at a big discount into the retail ecosystem/dealers to keep it physically capitalised. So, maybe people are making a flawed assumption that banks/manufacturing are at the mercy of the spot price, whereas perhaps they have already left the room are already dealing in the new physical reality with higher prices. That would explain the 6-month 50% draw-down in spot-silver, and similar for spot-gold: All threatre. That would also explain why gold/silver spot goes down when oil goes up; it's just liquidity sloshing around in the various liquidity buckets.
Dealers bought back high Have to charge high premiums As prices fall make up the difference or go under
