😅 I laughed irresistibly when you said, "I overthink enough. I don't need to be overthinking about your thinking as well. I have got my own thinking to overthink about". 😂😂😂 It came out so naturally. I want to note it down somewhere. 😅

Emotions are like colours, we all know what they are and how many different shades there are but it’s difficult to explain to someone else in more detail than simple red, green, blue etc.
One of my favourite episodes so far. As a parent, and a child. Thank you 🙏
Dr Julie’s instagram series is really, really helpful. It has been for me. She breaks things down with great understanding and empathy . Very moving. She meets you at the biting point of your mental and emotional blockage/ collapse. As we hear here, she herself is a “survivor”, she’s used her treatments on herself and others too. Much more than meets the eye.
33:40 - I REALLY needed to hear this... Just because things don't make sense to me, aren't objectively efficient, and seem to be just draining me out and running me dry- does NOT mean I can't FIND the useful, sensible, and efficient parts of this scenario, and use them to build me better- objectively AND subjectively- and TAKE the outcome of myself being better-off from those (however "needless" & "ridiculous" adversities. Thank you.
Technology was supposed to make life easier for us and give us more time on our hands. But all it ended up doing was increase our expectation of how much we get done, and how much we can handle. Paraphrasing of what she said around 3:45.
Something changes, in the presence of someone who makes us feel alive.
Emotions are by definition difficult for us to understand because that's literally the word for that which is not rational. If they were rational, they'd just be thoughts.
When I am stressed I want to go on a day trip and love to think of the pleasant memories.
