I am 77 and have been lifting since 14. I have never been into getting big. I am 5'7" 149 lbs. The same as when 20. Still in excellent shape except for some arthritis.
waiting for the full episode is shortening my life
Me at 2 am listening to how lack of sleep decreases my lifespan
I appreciate Dr Mike's brutal honesty. He does not beat around the bush and says it how it is.
My friend died in his mid 30's very recently of a heart attack, steroid user/body builder. I know it's anecdotal, but he's no longer with us, so I'd have to say it does.
After multiple YEARS of basically no recovery during sleep, there is nothing greater in life to me now than getting a good full night of sleep. It makes every single thing in daily life easier, by a lot.
13:00 One of the best things i did for my life was starting to get enough sleep. I used to live by "you can sleep when you're dead," but about ten years ago, i starting going to bed and waking up at exactly the same every day, work or not, and made sure that i got 7-8 hours of sleep in that time. My stress is lower. My mental balance is better. I was suddenly very stoic and dealt with bad situations in ways that i never could have when i was constantly exhausted. Highly recommended if you don't need a night life.
Chris is jacked up on adderall lol.
The amount of pro body builders, body builder influencers, wrestlers and other gear users that have died young is wild.
