While You Were Sleeping is a good movie too.
Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan could be in every movie together and I would not be mad. Such a classic rom com I love so much.
Now please watch You've got Mail, also with Tom and Meg based on an old Jimmy Stewart film called The Shop Around the Corner.
The girls parents were both travel agents which Is why her dad knew what time Jonahs flight was.
2:20 Bill Pullman. Can y’all watch While You Were Sleeping.
The way Rita Wilson talks about the film An Affair to Remember is almost word for word, the way my late mom talked about that film when she introduced it to me when I was still a kid over 50 years ago. It was eerie.😳
Rita Wilson (the friend who comes to the house and talks about the movie) and Tom Hanks have been married for decades now.
I remember one of the complaints movie goers had when the movie came out was the fact that the two main characters hardly had any scenes together whatsoever until the end of the movie. However, I think the concept of the movie was showing the process of two people and where they were in their life before they officially meet and start the journey to being a couple.
"Walter did the craziest thing!" "What, sneezed?" OMG 😂
"A lot of leaving kids alone." If you were 7 years old or above, you were more than capable of being left alone. Jonah's friend's parents knew the departure times because they were travel agents. That's how she had access to the booking system to book Jonah's flight.
