It’s so vague what happened to him (died or pulled back to the realm) that It still wouldn’t be a retcon if they do bring him back which is why I don’t feel this is rushed. You two WOULD LOVE Shadowhunters. It fits in perfectly with THIS WHOLE genre. It has everything: straight romance; LGBTQ Romance: supernatural action and effects; moody, angsty 20-something drama; it's all there.
