That's what started WW1, the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria.

In real life Rasputin was poisoned, stabbed, beaten and shot before being thrown into a freezing river. When they found his body, he had water in his lungs indicating that he actually died of drowning.

It was inevitable that Conrad would die in the war. In Kingsman: The Secret Service, Harry Hart aka Galahad, said that Kingsman was funded with the fortune of the English nobles that lost their sons in World War I, so if Orlando, Duke of Oxford was the founder and the first noble of Kingsman, he had to loose his son Conrad.

My favorite fun fact is that Wanted, Kick-Ass, and Kingsman all exist in the same universe (Mark Millar / Millarworld)
