This is really such an underrated movie with one of the most original concepts I’ve seen in a while

They baited me at the end with thinking it was all a lie and nothing was going to happen and then grandma explodes! Made me jump and burst out laughing 😂😂 Can't wait for the sequel 😎

5 outsiders in total. The mom, aunt's husband, Daniel's wife, the son in law and Grace. Only Aunt's husband and Grace picked the "Hide and seek" card. It's not the worst one, it's THE one. The rest of them picked normal cards like Checkers, Old Maid. Most spouses who married into the Le Domas family drew innocuous cards like these, allowing them to join the family without violence.

I also love the idea that the reason she survived, is because she is the only one that genuinely toasted to the game and Mr. Lebail before the game started. Everyone else rolled their eyes, while she respected the tradition she didn’t understand. And he toasted her when she won.

Samara Weaving is a true Scream Queen and Final Girl. She's one of the best of this new generation.

What's crazy is the family MAY have survived if the Aunt didn't break the rules and say "The girl still dies!" So perhaps it was all a lie, but that act made Mr. Le Bail punish the family.

It's funny how the brother n law told her that his brother would really be the only one to save her if anyone. How ironic that the only one who really saved her was him and he didn't even know it would be. He really thought it would be his brother to save his own wife.
