Achara: "He has to die eventually, right?" Trust me, we've thought that too.

To answer some of your questions. The kids are haunting the animitronics because their bodies are stuffed into them. The killer William Afton, who goes by Steve Raglan when he's undercover as a carrer counselor, hid their bodies in there so the police wouldn't find them. They end up haunting the animitronics and the pizzeria itself. Garret seems to have been taken before those kids and he doesn't possess anything, that we know of yet. William influences the kids through the drawing of the Yellow Rabbit being their friend. This lets them listen to him and obey any order he gives them. Vanessa isn't directly controlled by her father like the ghosts are, she's just messed up by him due to her childhood and fears him. The animitronic that got Abby at the house is not actually Freddy, but Golden Freddy. He has a broken ear and eye and is more yellowish than regular Freddy. The boy with blonde hair possesses Golden Freddy and he has unique powers compared to the rest. In the games, Golden Freddy can teleport and behaves like a Ghost despite having physical mass. This is why he shows up at the house despite having limited range to roam free. He essentially teleported into the house and dissappeared for the rest of the movie once Abby went inside the pizzeria. Abby wanting to see her friends makes sense because they only attacked her because they were influenced by William Afton. Now that he's out of the picture they theoretically hold no threat to her. Vanessa said they didn't want to hurt anyone and were simply following orders from who they thought was a friend. You are right about William Afton haunting the Yellow Rabbit suit as in the games he dies in the suit and becomes Springtrap. Five Nights at Freddy's 2 in the games is a prequel to the First game, but the movie of Fnaf 2 is a sequel, though by the looks of the trailers it will have a lot of flashbacks. The reason the story feels incomplete is because they were always planning this to be a trilogy so we won't know the full story until then. I hope you guys watch the second film, its going to be even scarier than the first.

Achara & Kristen News flash, this is based on a popular Videogame that KIDS LOVE and most Kids who love FNAF know the full story because the full story is explained in the game series.

The children possessed the animatronics because William hid their bodies inside them, later, William realized they were possessed, but the children didn't remember that he was the one who killed them, instead, they thought he was their friend because they remembered playing with him before they died. That's how he manipulated them.

You two have no idea how deep the FNAF lore goes. Just play the first game, we would happily watch you play it. It’s short, don’t worry
