Chance would be very proud of this season!!! They truly did honor him and his character
I was so happy to see A-train at the end, I’m glad he’s helping the fight against Homelander instead of just completely ditching. Makes me so excited for season 5!
18:42 Sage always kept her emotions in check and cut off. So she was questioning him to understand what she was feeling because she never allowed herself to truly feel for another person until she meet Godilken. In a way, you can say she’s trying to understand the feelings of love and heartache / disappointment.
18:33 she was alluding to Goldulken because that was what made her fall in love with him is his desperation to live, made him stronger, but when he was healed, he became an entirely different person to her
in the last scene emma is wearing andres hoodie most people didnt notice but it was an amazing detail they added
Sage changed Marie's death by leaving the door open for Polarity. Because she truly loved Godolkin and didn't think he'd go off the Homelander plan. Polarity was the course correct for SAGES'S plan where Marie is lives. Godolkin went off on a supe purity side quest.
poor Doug, rest in peace 🥺
wtf is wrong with you michael, how do you still not realize marie is actually super powerful, like on homelander & soldier boy's level! cipher/godolkin wasn't lying about any of it! marie has the power to kill the most powerful superabled individuals (i.e. homelander & soldier boy) marie along with homelander & soldier boy are the 3 most powerful supes who have ever lived.
i was so wrapped up in everything doug was saying it was so nice and wholesome and then second slater in classic boys fashion a gruesome death😭 rip doug, you made this season bingeable and u were the best character 🙌🏼 really loved this season honestly idc if it mighta been predictable or anti-climatic, it set up season 5 of the boys super well and the acting outta every person in the show was phenomenal. And RIP Chance Perdomo, it was amazing how great this season honored him in the perfect way, that scene with Emma and Polarity towards the end got me.
Polarity was Sage’s backup plan. I don’t think Sage was tricked by Thomas—instead, she was still hoping they could finish phase 2 together, and she was sad to realize she needed a backup just in case. When Sage talked with Polarity, she started to question why we love or care about people, especially when things often end up the same way. Jordan had a similar thought about their relationship with Marie—just because two people love each other doesn’t mean things will work out differently. Some reactors were excited to see Thomas outsmart Sage, but he didn’t. I thought it was more interesting to see Sage be honest and vulnerable about her feelings. I thought Marie could have healed Cate in the last season of The Boys, since Cate didn’t contribute much. In the end, it’s up to Marie whether she wants to use her powers to help someone, and no one should call her selfish for making that choice. That goes for anyone....people should only do what they’re comfortable with. Overall, this reaction was interesting🤨. RIP Chance Perdomo. 💕
